myGeneticist is DiscoverMe’s first project focused on enabling individuals to understand genetic information, so this knowledge can be used to make healthy life choices. myGeneticist specializes in preventative care for adverse drug reactions (ADR) through individualized genetic testing, also known as pharmacogenomics.

One fifth of all hospitalizations, as well as the death of hundreds of thousands of patients each year result from adverse drug reactions, when unexpected harmful consequences arise from the ingestion of correctly prescribed drugs. DiscoverMe's goal is to eradicate preventable pain, suffering and death due to adverse drug reactions.
